The DIALOGUES project launched in April 2025 with an energizing week in Lusaka, Zambia β hosted by the University of Zambia.

Partners from the University of Zambia, Chalimbana University, University of Iceland, OsloMetropolitan University, the University of Inland Norway came together in Lusaka to exchange insights on multilingual classrooms, co-develop future activities, and build lasting connections across continents. The workshop also invited guests from The University of Limpopo, as well as hosting local expertise in sign language, teacher education, and PhD supervision, strengthening the foundation for our sustainable collaboration.
Workshop Highlights
Sessions covered themes such as teacher development, cultural context in pedagogy, and student voices in multilingual environments. We also shared institutional practices, PhD supervision and started planning upcoming R&D phases in line with our project progress plan.
